Re: The new Japanese Multistrada

I've had virtually no problems in 13K miles on my 620. I get it serviced at the recommended intervals, replace the consumables as needed, and fill the tank with gas. No problems...... :D

Re: Pricing information for 2006 mts620??

Most of what I saw in Cycle Trader was near MSRP. There was one notable exception in Washington State that was $1500 less than MSRP. I wonder what the catch is.

Re: MTS 620

I test rode the SV650 and the Wee-strom a couple of times before shelling out the dough for my multi. In a nut shell, the Suzuki's are good bikes, but the Multi is a work of art. It rides and handles a lot better, especially when compared to the vstrom. The Vstrom felt very large to me considering ...

Re: Fuel Mileage on the 620?

FWIW, my gas mileage went down after I put on a 14T sprocket. It's running higher rpm's at highway speeds. It probably doesn't help that highway speeds around here tend be be in the 80's.

Re: mts 620 v/s bmw 650gs

I know two guys, one has a KLR650 and the other has a GS650 Dakar. Neither one is that great on the highway, but the GS is a little better. The KLR is vastly superior off pavement, it's 50lbs lighter, and also costs $3000 less. The GS650 is more refiened. I seriously considered both of these bikes ...

Re: Fuel Mileage on the 620?

ducatiRay, I think its the air bubble issue. The tanks for the 620 and 1000 are the same but ours don't have the breather valve at the back. So there's a gallon+ of space wasted back there. What happens after a short ride is that you've move the air bubble. High acceleration will force petro to the ...

Re: Fuel Mileage on the 620?

WAIT!! Everybody here get atleast 50 miles to the Gallon??? I only get 80 miles total driving in the city. I can not believe that,WOW. Stop and Go burns alot of gas.

If I'm riding primarily in town I can get as low as 40-45. Riding on the highway I've gotten around 65 (it was wet and I wasn't in ...
