She's fresh from the dealership with a brand spankin new tank! Reliability of the 620 engine with the thrill of a Ducati :-)

Here's the bad:
* There's prob another 3-4k left on the chain/sprockets and front tyre.

Re: Multistrada In an Urban Environment

i commute almost everyday on my 620. the friction zone is VERY small, but i don't have any problems in traffic with it. the only time i find the feathering the clutch challenging is during u-turns.

other than that, it's a great commuter. i see temps up to 240 on hot days, but typically closer to ...

Re: Questions about everything on MTS

no one else has mentioned it, so i'll mention it - plan to spend about $700 to $1000 in riding gear...a good helmet that fits you, a quality jacket and pants that you feel comfortable wearing and a good set of gloves and boots.

you might feel silly wearing the gear at first, but if you happen to go ...

Re: 2006 MTS620 pricing? I need your opinion

the reliability of the 620 is superb. if you search the forum, you'll see the majority of issues deal with the 1100/1000 models. i can't guarentee that you'll have a trouble free experience, but i can say that chances are you will ;-)

one of the reasons why i wanted the 620 was beacause i figured ...

Re: No Code Card - Is this A Problem?

what about upgrading the ecu to the dp one? didn't someone on here say you had the option of "keying" the dp ecu and if you left it unkeyed, you wouldn't need the red key anymore?

Re: engine heat

i haven't had any heat problems coming off the engine....i worry more about the outside temps rosting me than engine heat.

Re: Looking at a 2006 MultiStrada 620 - - Price Question - -

wow!!! you should go buy lottery tix with your luck!

acerbis makes some handguards that will replace the plastic knob on the bars (or you could go with the dp ones since you saved so much $$).

i got my framesliders (and front fork sliders) from www.motovation.com. great price and great customer ...

Re: Need Urgent Advice on First Bike (read this to know why)

you seem like a mellow person who would ride responsibly and not like a hooligan...i'd say you're mature enough for the mts 1100.

but you're also inexperienced, which means you're more likely to make rookie mistakes (forgetting to put down the kickstand, putting your foot down at slow speeds ...

Re: mts 620 vs sv-650 (my comparison)

you guys are right, i've never had a dry clutch before...and based on your descriptions, i don't think i'll ever want one :-) maybe i just need to hit the gym more...

just finished about 130 miles on the sv (it's got a full fairing) over the past few days. here's a few more things i've found as i ...

mts 620 vs sv-650 (my comparison)

just rode my friend's sv-650...here's my comparison to the 620:

what i like about my duc -

ergonomics - on the sv, i felt pretty compressed. i don't think i'd be able to do a whole day's worth of riding without some (maybe even a lot of) saddle sore. i find the duc's lcd display better layed out ...
