Re: Looking for my first bike

I've got both a 1000DS and a 620 and I'm 6'1" and 250 lbs. The key to your choice in my judgement is the two-up touring. The 620 just wouldn't be much fun with no reserve power and having to wring it out all the time for decent performance.

If you were to change the target to solo riding, I would ...

Re: Mutistrada 1100 S FOR SALE Price Drop $11999.00!!!

Thanks for the info. I think it's a helpful piece of data to include in a sales post if it's not avaliable anywhere else on the board.

I live in Louisville, TN (found under my screen name) which is near Knoxville, TN. You're a bit too far for a visit to check out the bike.

Re: 620 Pipes

I love my Leo Vince cans. Great sound but not too loud with the dB killers in. Too loud for me with them out.

Re: 620 Pipes

As I've said elsewhere, I'm extremely happy with the Leo Vince slip-ons. I run the db reducers all the time and it gives a great tone without being too loud. Without the reducers, same great tone but too loud for me to ride for any significant time. Reasonable cost too.

Re: Long distance rides

Bob,

The Laminar touring windscreen gets the air completely above your helmet with no buffeting? I'm the same height as you with a pants inseam of 32". Do you think the screen would work for me?
