Hi All,
I've been lusting after a Multi for a while now and have started looking around with some seriousness. My closest dealer has offered me a red (the only color I want) 07 1100 for his "dealer net" (whatever that means exactly) of $9956.10 + $295 freight + tax/title/tags.
Is that a good price? I've been thinking of trying to find new 06 620 (if there are still any left), riding it for six months or so, then giving it to my wife and getting an 08 1100S. I've been out of riding for some years, and am looking to start in again, so maybe that's not a bad idea...

Yes, that is an excellent price for an '07, go for it!
620's are still out there, and that's an excellent bike in its own right as well. If you search around you should be able to get a red 620 from somewhere.
But that IS a sweet price for an 1100.

Not saying it can't be so... 
but that is a super price for an 07 1100 
. He may have been suffering from brain fade and meant 1000DS.

It's definitely the '07 1100. Sounds like a great deal. Now I just have to get the expense past my wife, who ought to be happy that I'm not wanting to build another airplane! Yet...
