If you're interested in buying a Multistrada, this is the place to post questions about the bike.

I was wondering if there are any issues with engine heat. Also wondering if the legs or ass gets cooked in the summer when things get hotter.

You will feel it a bit while stopped in higher temps but its not a big deal at all.its nothing compared to my 999 which def.roasts you if you're stopped in traffic.

Never been a problem. But it never gets terribly hot here either.

Last August did a 3-day roadtrip here in the muggy northeast. Temps in the high 90's (just my luck), with gear on and the wife on the back. Neither one of us had any complaints about the bike- the heat from the pavement was more noticeable than anything coming from the bike.

Ditto. When I'm moving, even with higher ambient temps, I don't experience any problems due to engine heat. When you're stuck in traffic it can get a little toasty... but no worse than my F4i.

Note - your experience may differ if you ride with shorts...

It is great to hear that the multistrada is not a cooker!
