I just aquired a 620 Multi and would like to add a centerstand. Does the installation of a centerstand eliminate use of the sidestand? Woiuld like to have both!
What about bar end weights?
Throttlemeister and hand guard compatibility?
Anybody ever try Avon Distanza dualsport tires? Bike is so light and responsive, I think I want to try the dualsport tires for light off road use.
Avon is only mfg I can find who mkes dualsport tires that fit stock wheels. Similar to Metzler Tourance I am runnuing on my GS and I like those a lot.

The side stand can be used in conjunction with the center stand. However, there is much debate whether the centerstand will drag the ground while turning under normal riding. Some say it does, other say is does not.

The bar end weights will still work if you add a centerstand.
But seriously, I don't see how the throttlemeister could work if you have DP handguards installed. A long bolt goes through the handguards and into the bar end weights, holding them tightly into the handlebar ends. I guess you could engineer some contraption that would allow the throttlemeister to rotate, using bearings or something like that. Probably not worth the effort. I would recommend one of those wrist-rester thingys for cheap cruise control (obviously not a hands-free solution).
I can't help you with the tire question, sorry.

I put a vista cruise (I think it was), universal model on my MTS620 as a throttle lock. Works fine, but the space to install was tight. Way cheaper than the throttlemeister and very functional, but obviously not as good looking.
