Well im trying to make a decision. I have heard the maintenance costs for Ducatis are very expensive and need to be done often.
What should I expect maintenance wise with costs etc..????

So, expect an oil+filter change every 3000 miles = about $100 at a dealership, or $50 DIY with synthetic oil.
Every 6000 miles = valve adjustment, oil change, and maintenance check: about $600 at a dealership, plus costs of new parts such as belts, spark plugs, etc. Also, touring tires last approx 6000 miles too, so add about $300 for new tires along with your 6000 mile check ups. Therefore, expect near $1000 every 6000 miles.
Gas efficiency is good. I get about 40 mpg for my MTS1000. Premium fuel only though...
