6'4" & 220 lbs. This bike will fit you like a glove. It has a very tall stance and you will have the benifit of flat footing it while at a stop. The wind catches me kind of mid chest level with the stock windscreen. I really don't have that much weather protection but I don't have any head buffeting that others have dealt with. I have had many bikes that I felt like I have rode on top of but the MTS I ride with. I hope my perspective helps...

Sounds like we'd have a good football team.

I am 6'2", 225 suited up with 34" inseam. Fits me perfectly.

You did not mention your weight. I found that as I pushed my bike in the twisties it did not handle as well as it should (under sprung for my weight). I had the suspension dialed in (springs and valving changed) by GMD Computrack in Atlanta and the bike is like it is on rails. It also sits a little higher than stock springs and I have no center stand problems.

Hope this helps,
Larry

Good point on the suspension. I had mine optimized by BCM (not that I could tell there was a problem), and they switched out the rear spring for a beefier ( I am 240 lbs), non progressive Ohlins spring.

I'd have to say it is an improvement.

I am about to pull the trigger on an MTS 620 just for an around town and commuter. The test ride left me feeling like I kept sliding into the tank and lots of weight on my hands/wrist. I am 6'4", #250 with 33" inseam. I noticed that the forks stick up 1/2" through the top tree. Is this normal or did the previous owner raise the fork legs?

Thanks

6'2''. I find the legposition very comfortable. My comparison is a Monster and a 1991 SS.
Remaining issue, body-length related, is wind noise around the helmet. I started off with the DP comfort screen and found this set-up very noisy at average speed. Have added a Laminar Lip to it and it improved but is not perfect.
Both on the Monster and the SS I had less wind noise but a lot more wind force on the upper body. I'm going to try a reduced screen heigth (by cutting one) to see if I like that better).
It'looks like a trade off between protection and noise.
I had fatigue issues in neck and shoulders with the original bar.
I solved that by changing it to a bar 1" higher and a different sweep angle. I picked it up from a dirt bike shop for nearly nothing and it worked perfectly. Have done rides of 11 hours on a day without any trouble.
