I'm wondering if any of you ride your Multi in all weather? I'm looking at bikes to use in all conditions including rain. Any ride their MTS like this (extensively)? Any issue cropping up with things like electronics, condensation in gauges, other water related issues?
Thanks

I live in Florida. Can't ride down here without riding in the rain. So far no weather related problems on my bike. Others have mentioned fogging of gauges, though.

I've taken a couple of extended weekend trips with my 620, and been caught in some torrential downpours both times. Other than a temporary fogging of the instrument cluster, which cleared up after a couple of hot days in the sun, I didn't have any rain related issues...yet. That being said, I would take some precautions if commuting or all-weather touring is what you will be doing. There are some exposed areas on a Multistrada that should be considered. First would be the lack of fenders. Get a rear hugger to protect your shock and swingarm linkages, and a front Fenda Extenda to provide better engine protection. Handguards, (Ducati or KTM) will protect both your hands and the lever pivot points, (at least while under way). Also go for the hardbags when/if you buy, they are the only watertight luggage option for us, and are hard to come by. While my Multistrada is no GS, I think it makes a fine all weather bike.
I like driving backwards in the fog. --Audioslave--
