OK, I live in the Northeastern US, winter is coming, and today many of the roads are covered by wet leaves, pine needles etc. Still, I am actually toying with the idea of buying a new bike (2008S) with some add ons. I'd like a general idea of what a reasonable discount (%)from sticker would be for the bike in my area at this time of year (I believe sticker is $14,495) and for manufacturers add ons - 3 bags, heated grips, center stand, hand guards.
I would appreciate a little guidance, or even a reference to a motorcycle site equivalent to Edmunds.com. I am not looking for offers. Feel free to PM.
Thanks. I know this type of question is boring.

I don't know if there is much of a discount on Multis. I paid $13,850 for my 08 S, no addon's this past May (prime time). I do know one local dealer (there may be others) that is offering free DP Panniers with purchase of an 08 S.

Maybe you've already decided against this, but if you can't find a discounted leftover 08, your best bet might be to go for very lightly used bike. You should be able to get a nearly new 07 or 08 1100S nicely modded for substantially less than the price of a new stock bike.

You can do OK with not-brand-new-bikes...
In August I paid between 7.5k and 8k for an 07 1100 multi, 7200mi, full 2-yr unlimited mileage warrantee (yes, from dealer)...
Had just been given 7500mi service.
