Hi guys,
A co-worker is oggling my new mts, and is thinking of joining the club. The problem is that he's a new driver, and I suspect the 1000/1100 would be too much for him to start on. Any thoughts on the 620 for a new driver? The specs look a little more tame, and the lighter weight would also help.
And for the Canadian's on the list, are there many of them for sale up here? haven't seen many posted on this forum.

Thats the reason I went with a 620. It makes an excellent entry level bike, if the thought of maybe dropping it at low speeds while you learn doesnt wake you up in a cold sweat.
These bikes are sooo easy to ride, and sooo forgiving. I say go for it.

Personally, I'd suggest buying something cheaper as a first bike--one that won't cost so much to fix when it gets dropped.

I've got a 620D that I am thinking of selling. I have a test ride on May 1st for my possible replacement bike and will know more after that.
I'll keep you posted if I do decide to sell it.
