I have started looking and found a 09 with 2500 mi. and a new 07 both for 10k . Whats the way to go , differences between 07 and 09 ? Thanks ,

Check the wiki for the lowdown, but you are looking at different graphics between 2007 and 2009. If you are getting a full 2yr warranty on the 2007 bike, personally I would go for that.

Unless you just have your heart set on a pearl white multi, I'd go for the new '07 too. Nothing like breaking in a new bike as you see fit.

Didn't the '09 only come in an 'S' version to the States? (I thought I read that someplace).

Otherwise make sure they are both the same model before comparing.
There may be some running differences also.
(I mean a 'running change' in some components, perhaps slightly upgraded)
