Wanna buy » questions on potential 2006 mts620 purchase

I'm looking at buying a 2006 mts620 with 5500 miles. The seller is out of town and all communication has been via email. They are asking $4500. According to the seller they have changed the oild twice at 2800 and 4500 miles since 2006, also what maintenance items should I expect to have been completed over the last 5 years? Thanks in advance!

Should of had a cursory dealer check at 600 miles. Technically the first valve/belt service is not due until 6000.
Since its close to that time anyway, work a discount for upcoming service into the selling price and take it right to the local Duc shop.

It hopefully will not require anything major and that service should be between $600-$1000.

Belt change is at 6000m OR 2 years whichever comes FIRST. It should have had 2 belt changes. If it hasn't it needs doing ASAP, belts are around £80 don't know thw labour as do my own.
