If that doesnt work out for you Gary you could give Jim at Seacoast Sport Cycle a call in Derry, NH. It is a little bit of a ride for you but they treated me great on a 2012 Sport. He lowered the price a bit and threw in a set of bags. He even has a Pikes Peak in stock now. It is my first Multi and I got 700 miles on it before snow hit and I absoulutely LOVE this bike. Goodluck

It would depend on what it is, a base, ABS, or S model. I doubt they're letting an S go for that, otherwise that's a great deal. An ABS model, ehh...not bad, but you can probably do better. If it's a base model, that's list price, they'd have to do a lot better than that.Alaskaflyer wrote:Glad I found this, answered a few questions I had. I'm going to do a Demo ride on a 2010 1200. They are asking 14,999. It is their Demo bike and it is a 2010. What do you think a fair price for that would be?

It is the base model, which NADA has at 12999 for used, since it's a demo and has mileage I would consider it used.

I guess the price depends on the model and options. I got the 1200 Standard, non-ABS and no saddlebags for $13,699; paid taxes on it when I got back to TN. A leftover 2010 1200 standard should be at least as low as mine, if not a bit lower since we're into the new model years...plus it's winter time!

If you're still looking for a taller windscreen, try the two-piece MRA windscreen. The adjustable upper spoiler really makes a difference in the airflow.
