My only objection to Buell is being treated like a leper when you give it any attention at a Harley dealer. They either ignore you totally or give you what little they know about the bike and then walk away. I guess part of it has to do with the fact that Buells are usually discounted unlike the HDs which are usually going at sticker or higher.

I don't know - there are a lot of people who buy BMW GS Adventures (and other much less capable 'dual-sport' and 'adventure' bikes) just for their looks and seeming ability to do well off-road, and never take them off-pavement. It hasn't hurt the sales of the GS any.NovaCoder wrote:They are making a mistake to market it as a 'real' off-road bike though as it obviously isn't (even Ducati realized that would be a mistake).
