I am well aware of how impossible it is to find one of these. Unobtainiam indeed!
If anyone has one for sale or knows of a potential aftermarket solution, I’d love to hear it!
I HATE the side stand on my ‘04 as it feels like the bike is always just one small bump away from toppling over, and I can’t seem to find a replacement side stand either!
Thanks!
John

This is not a center stand solution, but I believe a Hypermotard sidestand will fit on the A-C multistrada (620, 1000 or 1100).
Here's an aftermarket item that lists compatibility with both Hyper and Multi, so it would seem to indicate that a stock item would also work in either application. Of course you also just could just buy this:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/SSR-Ducati-Hyp ... 1643909857
With a longer sidestand (and maybe a foot enlarger) your tipping worries should go away.
Note that compatible can sometimes mean a tight squeeze. I used Hypermotard pegs on my 1000DS and it took some effort to get them on, but once on they functioned perfectly.

The side stands on 1100's are longer. About 280 mm or 11'' from centre of bolt to start of the foot. You can only dream of finding a centre stand.

Note the longer sidestand was fitted from '05, so also appears on the '05-'06 620, 1000 and 1000S. It was also available as a dealer upgrade for earlier bikes. If you can find a stock sidestand from any '05-09 Multi, it will fit and be longer. I had two '04s. The first had the original short sidestand and the second had the longer sidestand.wongaman wrote:The side stands on 1100's are longer. About 280 mm or 11'' from centre of bolt to start of the foot.
