I purchased my 1000s DS when I lived in Oklahoma City. I called every Ducati dealer in Dallas and all of them wanted to add assembly, crating , dock, or whatever bullcrap expenses they could think of on top of msrp. I ended up buying mine at Letko in Kansas City. He sold me one at msrp. This was in 04 and I gave up 2% financing and a good deal on an 04 model because I wanted the 1000s.

I bought mine at Eurosport Cycles in Ft. Worth. Great people, great price, good deal (accs., service, etc.)
