FYI, there are 2 620s on eBay right now, brand new 2006 models. One is red and the other a dark (only one disc brake up front). Each auction starts at $5,999 with no reserve. I don't know the actual dealer cost, but $7,795 seems higher than dealer cost when the bike was new. I read many moons ago in a motorcycle mag that dealer mark-up was about 16% on bikes. Just my opinion, but I wouldn't pay more than $6k if the bike is used, even if it had only 100 miles on it, but I'm a cheap SOB. I'd wager about $6,500-$7,000 would be a good price for a new 2006, depending on the model. Retail in 2006 was $7,995 for the dark and $8,495 for the regular, both before delivery and dealer prep. On a semi-related note, our local Ducati dealer had a brand new 2006 Monster 800 for $6,495 (that's $2,000 off retail) over the winter.

I think the going rate for a new '06 MTS620 is $7K. That's what I paid a few weeks ago (0 miles) and I found several available at this price during my search.newb wrote:What incentives do they have? How much can you get off?
I wonder if KBB updated their estimates based upon this "new" dealer pricing. When I bought mine, the KBB on a used '06 was $7300. $300 more than what I paid.(albeit, not counting dealer fees).bikernut wrote:As of today KBB lists the 620 @

For $7800 (or near that) from a dealer for a used bike, I would ask for a 2-year warranty and mucho farkles. (DP hardcases, centerstand, whatever). Of course, your bargaining power goes away somewhat when the leftover '06s go away.
