I need storage space on my bike & was thinking of a Givi Maxia 52ltr top box which I have used on other bikes - they are great, and I dont really want to add width with panniers. But would it fit on a Multistrada, and what about those exhausts - any heat issues . All info gratefully recieved. Thanks.

Givi have a rack for the Multistrada.

Its not a great fit, most people need to file the mounting holes, but once on it fits fine. No problem with the heat from the pipes.

Good news, Ive found the Givi kit to be good. Useful to know before I buy, I went for a Pan because I carry kit every day (like laptop etc.) but want to go back to a bike for more fun at weekends etc & hoping the MS will fit the bill.

Thanks, Andy. :)

P.S. not far away down the road at Kington St Michael near Chippenham, so maybe we'll cath up sometime. Cheers.

I love my givi 52l top case. I move it from my k75 to my r 100/7 to my rt 1150 and best of all to my mts1000. I can put my laptop in it. Or my helmit and my Aero stitch jacket. and other small goodies. It fits good and carries a lot. My only complaint is the light kit does not work. Seems like the spring loaded contacts arc and then don't transfer the electrons to the lights. Otherwise great product.

Probably too small if thats all you want, but I'm very happy with the 26L Givi I have. Great for day rides, weekends if you pack light. I don't even know it is on there.
