This happens to me on a semi-regular basis; whether it's some 12 year old in the back of his parent's SUV saying "cool bike" and giving me the thumbs up, or some denizen of the local Starbucks. Even non-moto types know the MTS is special; one asked me if it was the "Ferrari" of bikes; of course I said yes to that!
Multis never get mistaken for Harleys or Hondas...thankfully>>>

2013 Griso SE "Diavolo Nero" Totally different kind of ride, but still ITALIAN.
To remedy clutch pull, get CRG levers and an Evoluzione master cylinder. You can also get another pressure plate to reduce effort even further. Total investment for all 3: about $550
You could probably pull the clutch with 2 fingers at that point.
In general, the Multi will be a better tourer and sport bike, and you will have way way many more options for customizing & performance.

I'd like to thank everyone. After squeezing the clutch lever on stationary showroom Multis, I am sure I'd get some carpal tunnel flareups. In researching this right here on MTS.net I came to the conclusion that if I bought a MTS, I'd have the dealer install a Yoyodyne clutch slave master cylinder, 30mm, before the bike touches the street. But I'm uneasy in that people have a wide variation in perception regarding this thing's effectiveness. At least all say it does something.
I'm starting to want the "S" if only for the black.
I can't say thanks enough.
Thanks again to all.

Curiously , I am looking at new bikes after a myopic woman wiped my Caponord and myself out. I now have trouble with my neck riding my rsv or 748, so, at last, in my mid 50's, I'm looking for a 'sensible' bike. I narrowed the options down to the Griso or mts. Capo's and GS's and the like are way too heavy. Even tho I'm UK the new tiger doesnt appeal. Last weekend I rode the Griso and for what its worth I was underwhelmed by the power and gearbox. I could sense that I would get bored v quickly. But the seat is the most comfortable I've ever sat on. I like the looks and the warmth from the cylinders also. I took out a MTS yesterday and boy what a difference. Light, agile. The engine is a peach, power everywhere you need it in todays congested camera infested roads. I cant see myself getting bored with this. Gearbox was sweet. The only negs are the next to useless wind/weather protection , mirrors and too hard (for my boney old butt) seat. The alt cover sticking out the side I can get used to. All things I could sort with the aid of the forums. I sense thats its a bike that can satisfy the hooly in me but I can still kick back if I want to. I hated the looks when the mts first came out but in black its ok. I think once you get past the looks and ride one you are hooked.
I found my clutch pull painful at first. But after 3.5 months and 4.8k miles, I don't notice it - or rather I should say I noticed that the pull had become o.k.. I don't know if it softened up, or if I got used to it, but it's not an issue any more.
