Test rode a 05 MTS with the termis ect and loved it . My question is... the difference between the 1100 and 1000, is it significant enough to buy new ? I would rather someone else took the first depreciation hit.
Your thoughts please.

Hi, I made this decision 2 months ago. I could have bought a nearly new 1000S or a new 2007 1100S. I went for the new bike because of:
Whichever you go with, I would recommend the MTS for UK roads. Those minor imperfections (potholes) are much easier to deal with!
- 2 year warranty (inc roadside recovery)
- The 'fixed' fuel guage
- Rubber mounted bars

Hi Juan,
Welcome!
I went from the Capo to a 1000 Multi, and I don't regret it at all. Lighter, more flickable and generally easier to live with. They do tend to make you go a little quicker too!

Yes ta for the welcome. I have the option since saturday of a '05 standard for 4k which I am tempted by although its red rather than the prefered black. I can chop in the 748 which has done about 170miles in the last 3 years so it wont be missed other than being a work of art. Its whether I can live with red. still , I 'spose you wont see it so well when riding it as it were!Ooooh matron.Still like to know of the peformance difference between 1100 and 1000?
