Personally would take medium miles over ultra low as any issues would've shown and taken care of.

I don't know, the 620 with no service, original tires, etc. seems like a money pit. I would not ride on 13 year old tires, nor start that engine until the belts are done.

If you have the aptitude, you can definitely complete on your own, and there's many threads on this site with info on how and settings. $1200 is about the low side at a dlr., but as I last did I found a local guy who did it for $350 + the belts I bought myself.

Have you looked at http://www.altrider.com/ ? Not sure how much they have for aircooled, but pretty much got everything for my 1200 as they borrowed my bike for the IMS show and left it all on there.

Welcome aboard, sounds like maintenance had been taken care of which any recalls/updates should've been done. You can check with your local dlr. to ensure that's true. Kinda weird that they didn't do valves when belts were done.

Make sure all updates/recalls have been done. 2010 is a fine machine, but there are first year issues that should've been rectified by recall/updates.

Looks similar to the 1200's, but not sure if same.
